A latent image is an invisible image produced by the exposure to light of a photosensitive material such as photographic film

"My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic that I used on a school trip to France at the age of 11...…….."

.I was hooked from that time and read everything I could about photography, at the expense of my school work….

I graduated to an SLR when I was 19; a fully manual Praktica – beautifully made in the old DDR.

A few extra lenses later I could begin to call myself a “photographer”.

Years of trial and error, upgrades and (finally) embracing digital brings me to the present day;

still loving the art of taking an image and seeing it come to life on the screen.

A born and bred Londoner, I now live in Somerset; opening up the beautiful countryside and seascapes to my lenses.

I am very lucky to live close to the magnificent Jurassic Coast.
